Garden update - number two!
I planted my garden plot at LSU on March 26. It's been about a month-and-a-half now. I have much to show for it!

My garden plot about a month ago. Pretty trifling.

It has grown by leaps and bounds!!!

Itty bitty baby squash!

Brocolli and green onions!

Someone next to me has a corn plant!

Lettuce I eat every few days!

Tomatoes! Much excitement!!!!

We had a bitty garden in our backyard for the past two years & it has done just horribly. I think it's in a "bad" spot (altho technically it's got a nice mix of sun&shade and whatnot)... I just don't think the plants LIKE it there. Tomatoes? Feh, forget about it. We got about 8 total the whole season. Disappointing. I so want a garden that is perhaps a tad larger with a row for different varieties of lettuce. We house-sat for a friend 3 or 4 years ago who was a Master Gardener & had a whole LETTUCE garden. I had fresh pickin' salads EVERY day. It so rocked. :)
