Disc Golf at Highland Road Park

I have some friends who I regularly play disc golf with, usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I work with Mark and I like his wife, Melony, a lot. I like them both a whole Hell of a lot, actually! Usually, Beanie comes along, and she's very good but she didn't on this day. Today, Karen, also from work, came along to try her hand at disc golf. And, M&M brought their puppy Max along for the walk.

As we walked up to the tee-off, this is what we're looking at. I think the park is really beautiful. Especially in Fall and Winter. Posted by Hello

I busted out the camera, and I don't think anyone quite knew what to think. Posted by Hello

Karen wanted to take a picture of me because she said I looked hard-core, like I was ready to kick some golfing ass. I just laughed. Posted by Hello

I really wanted to get a picture with Mark b/c he's like a big brother. Mmwwahh! Posted by Hello

Max is soooooooo strange looking because he's a mixture of all these mutt parts. He's so cool! Posted by Hello

I don't think Karen liked the game much b/c she quit! I decided to torture her by taking a pic of her having trouble. Posted by Hello

We became obsessed with taking "action shots." There's Melony waiting to take her turn. Posted by Hello

Mark is so totally the man, and a big ham! I think he meant "Par 3" here. Not sure.... Posted by Hello

In between turns, I got more shots of the park. Posted by Hello

More of the park. It was a beautiful overcast day. Posted by Hello

Another action shot. Posted by Hello

Karen wanted an action shot of me. Here I am devising my strategy. *smirk* Posted by Hello

I look like I'm about to fall over, but I'm really just finishing up my patented hop-skip-jump. Check out the guys in back and their discs going.... Posted by Hello

There were people running electric cars, and Max went nuts! Dude, it's just electric cars! Posted by Hello

I thought this was a great shot of Melony and Max, and really showed off the park, too. Posted by Hello

Not for the faint-of-heart.

X-Mas 2004

I spent a few days at my parents house for X-Mas, and I got this new camera. My family was the first to officially hate the fact that I now had a camera.

My mom on X-Mas morning. Thanks for the camera! Now, you're going to really pay :-)

my sister just woke up, too. I love those glasses. Posted by Hello

And, yes, my brother just as he was waking up. I feel more and more like my mother as I write this.... Posted by Hello
